Surveillance footage shows Aaron and Alexis were last together at a Kwik Trip in Beaver Dam on March 29, 2025, according to court documents obtained by WISC.
According to Law & Crime, phone records suggest Alexis’s cellphone was in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, the day before Aaron purchased a large trash can.
According to reports from WISC, shortly after Alexis went missing, Aaron supposedly made a new Facebook profile using the name “James Nelson” and indicated he was widowed.
It’s just… unbelievable. They say Aaron was already swiping around on Tinder in April 2025 – April! – and by May, he’d actually moved another woman into his place. But the worst part? A dog trained to find human remains also alerted investigators to a shed on the property, where the garbage can was located, according to WISC.
Alexis is still missing, and authorities haven’t found any record of her death in Wisconsin, according to reports.
Aaron’s bond was set at $1 million cash and he is next scheduled to appear in court on May 28.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office didn’t respond right away when Us Weekly asked for information about the case.
