Approximately four weeks before the revival of Bachelor in Paradise airs on ABC, the initial group of participants has been officially confirmed. The first 16 contestants set to arrive at the Costa Rican beach are primarily from Joey Graziadei‘s season (Jess and Lexi), Grant Ellis‘s season (Alexe, Bailey and Zoe) and Jenn Tran‘s season (Brian, Hakeem, Ricky, Jeremy, Spencer, Sam M. and Jonathan). The wildcards include the winner of season 16 Bachelorette, Clare Crawley’s former fiancé, Dale Moss, the runner-up from season 17 Bachelorette, Justin Glaze, fellow season 17 alum Kyle Howard, who was eliminated by Katie Thurston during week 2, and Bachelor season 27 alum and BiP season 9 star Kat Izzo.

The Golden Bachelor‘s Leslie Fhima and The Golden Bachelorette’s Gary Levingston were previously announced as the first-ever Golden cast members on BiP. It remains to be seen whether these senior stars will focus solely on each other or seek connections with younger cast members.
“This kind of thing happens all the time in real life. Just look at Bill Belichick right now – it’s happening before our eyes,” bartender Wells Adams shared with Us Weekly on set in Costa Rica about a potential age-gap romance. “I don’t know if it will, but I think it’ll be cool to have the Goldens around. The thing that I love about The Golden Bachelor is they’ve lived so much more life, and their advice, their conversations, the stakes for them are just so much bigger. I think that’ll be a good thing for them to impart on all these young kids.”
Bachelor in Paradise will debut on ABC on Monday, July 7, at 8 p.m. ET. Scroll down to meet the cast of season 10:
