Beth explained that rumors started spreading, claiming either her son or a man named Duddy had leaked the sex tape, but she strongly insisted this wasn’t true. After that, Will took it upon himself to investigate and figure out what had happened.
Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE what Will did! Apparently, he was so freaked out, he actually hired both a cybersecurity expert AND a private investigator! Can you imagine?! He threw a TON of money at it, just desperate to figure out what was going on. It’s insane how far he went, but honestly, I totally get it! I would’ve done the same!
In due time, Will found out that the footage had been “stolen.”
Beth explained that his laptop, phone, or online accounts were likely hacked a year or two ago while he was in college. They discovered the hacker was from Eastern Europe and known for targeting couples they believe will attract attention if exposed.
Although investigators working for her son managed to remove most of the sex tape from social media, Beth acknowledged that once something is online, it’s impossible to completely erase it.
“It’s there forever. There is a footprint, unfortunately,” she said.
Following his split from Duddy, Will briefly dated Victoria Fuller from Bachelor Nation. Their relationship ended in April 2025.
After having shoulder surgery in July 2025, Will will be unable to play for the entire 2025 season. He’s anticipated to compete for the second-string quarterback position behind Cam Ward when training camp begins this summer.
