スチュワート・マクリーンの友人で同僚であるジェフ・シーモアは、 元ヴァージン・ リバーの俳優が失踪したとき、何かがおかしいと感じました。

シーモアさんによると、マクリーンさんとは8年前、俳優として駆け出しの頃、シーモアさんのコーチングセッションに参加し、すぐに友達になったという。

シーモアさんは誰かがマクリーンを陥れたとは信じられず、失踪が偶然ではないのではないかと心配した。彼は喪失感が衝撃的だったと語り、本能的に電話に手を伸ばしても、友人ともう話せなくなったことを思い出すことがよくあったと説明した。

You know, everyone really liked him. He wasn’t involved in anything shady or hanging around with the wrong crowd at all. He was more of an introvert, really. He just enjoyed his own company, spending a lot of time reading and relaxing at his place in Squamish. It was a simple, peaceful life, and he seemed perfectly content with it.

A homicide investigation into McLean’s death is ongoing.

“It’s just a shocker,” Seymour stated. “I would love to see justice served.”

McLean’s talent agent, Jodi Caplan, confirmed her client’s death hours earlier on Friday.

Caplan shared that numerous casting directors have expressed their sympathy to Stew’s family and the agency, consistently describing him as a wonderful person who will be greatly missed.

McLean has appeared in several TV shows, including Supernatural, Arrow, Blue Steele, Travelers, Beyond, The 100, Siren, Murder in a Small Town, and Cloud Van Tales. He also had a role in one episode of season 7 of Virgin River.
