If you’ve never ridden it, let me warn you – the Swinging Gondolas of the Pixar Pal-A-Round at Disney California Adventure is not a favorite among many visitors. The gondolas sway back and forth while rotating, but there are no safety restraints or interior handles, causing passengers to swing quite vigorously. Some people have even experienced panic attacks on this ride. It’s quite uncomfortable and distressing.

It’s probably not ideal for those with motion sickness to watch a first-person view video of the swaying gondolas, as it might cause them to feel queasy and potentially vomit at home.

Personally speaking, it seems the Non-Swinging Gondolas offer a more tranquil journey, and they provide stunning vistas of Disney California Adventure from the Ferris wheel’s summit. I’m optimistic that when these walkthroughs drop on Disney+ on July 17, this is exactly what we can expect. Fingers crossed, it turns out to be true!
